A: WE CHARGE A MIN. OF $110.00 FOR ANY JOB.

Q: WHAT'S OUR DIAGNOSTIC FEES/ LABOR RATE?

A: $110.00 PER HOUR FOR ANY DIAGNOSTICS. WE CAN FIND MOST ISSUES QUICKLY AS WE HAVE ALL THE PROPER TRAINING & EQUIPMENT. MOST ISSUES CAN BE DIAGNOSED IN 1-2 HRS TIME DEPENDING ON WHATS WRONG.

Q: DO WE CHARGE FOR ESTIMATES?

A: YES. WE CHARGE A MIN OF $110.00 FOR AN ESTIMATE, BUT IF YOU APPROVE THE REPAIRS, THERE'S NO INDIVIDUAL CHARGE, THAT COST GOES BACK INTO YOUR REPAIRS. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO DO ANY REPAIRS, YOU WILL OWE A MIN. CHARGE OF $110.00 + TAX.

Q: WHAT ENGINES DO WE WORK ON?

A: 2000 & NEWER EFI'S. MERCURY/ YAMAHA/ SUZUKI OUTBOARDS.  MUST BE ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION. NO CARB MODELS. NO JETS. NO INBOARDS. WE DO NOT WORK ON OLDER 2 STROKE EFI MERCS. WE WORK ON: MERCURY- (OPTIMAX, 4 STROKE, VERADO'S) YAMAHA- (OX66, HPDI, ALL 4 STROKES)  SUZUKI- (4 STROKES ONLY)

Q: DO WE SELL PARTS OVER COUNTER?

A: NO OVER COUNTER PARTS SALES. OUR SMALL INVENTORY IS FOR SERVICE JOBS ONLY. WE DO SUPPLY SOME SHELVING WITH BASIC THINGS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS WHEN PICKING UP THERE BOAT. (OILS, LUBES, TREATMENTS, DRAIN PLUGS, FLUSHERS ETC.)

Q: WILL YOUR BOAT BE STORED OUTSIDE?

A: YES. ALL PARKING IS OUTSIDE. BUT, WE DO HAVE A COUPLE COVERED PARKING SPACES FOR SMALLER BOATS WHEN AVAILABLE , & YOUR WELCOME TO COVER YOUR BOAT. OF COURSE ITS OUT OF THE WEATHER WHILE BEING WORKED ON. WE DON'T HAVE TREES SO THAT HELPS!

Q: WHEN CAN YOU BRING YOUR BOAT IN FOR SERVICE?

A: YOU MUST CALL (346) 225-6001 & MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. NO BOATS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A PRIOR APPOINTMENT.

Q: HOW MUCH PARKING SPACE IS AVAILABLE?

A: WE HAVE ENOUGH PARKING FOR UP TO 10 BOATS AT A TIME. PARKING IS OUTSIDE. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 10 SPOTS MAXIMUM. WE WORK ON APPOINTMENTS.

Q: CAN YOU COVER YOUR BOAT WITH A BOAT COVER?

A: YES. YOUR WELCOME TO COVER YOUR BOAT UP BEFORE YOU LEAVE. 

Q: DO YOU NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT?

A: YES. BUT, WE WILL TYPICALLY INSPECT YOUR BOAT & CALL YOU WITH AN ESTIMATE. A 50% DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED AT THAT TIME, & THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE MUST BE PAID UPON PICKUP.

Q: HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO PICK YOUR BOAT UP AFTER COMPLETION?

A: WE ALLOW 3 DAYS FOR PICKUP AFTER COMPLETION. WE CHARGE $25.00/ PER DAY STORAGE FEE AFTER 3 DAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS. WE ARE OPEN LATE ON THURSDAYS (8PM) & FRIDAYS (6PM) TO ALLOW YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO PICK UP YOUR BOAT.

Q: CAN YOU BRING YOUR ENGINE IN FOR SERVICE OFF THE BOAT?

A: NO. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ENGINES OFF THE BOAT.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HAVE YOUR BOAT REPAIRED?

A: THIS CAN VARY GREATLY DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF REPAIRS BEING MADE, AND PARTS AVAILABILITY. WE STRIVE TO GET YOUR BOAT DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. GENERAL MAINTENANCE TYPICALLY 3-5 DAYS. LONG TERM SIT-UP, MULTIPLE PROBLEMS ETC. 7 DAYS+

Q: WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED?

A: WE ACCEPT CASH, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMEX & CASHIER'S CHECKS

Q: DO WE CHARGE SALES TAX?

A: YES. WE ARE RECREATIONAL, THEREFORE, MUST CHARGE SALES TAX ON ALL PARTS & LABOR. 

Q: IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR PAYING IN CASH?

A: YES! WE CAN GIVE YOU A 5% DISCOUNT FOR CASH.

Q: IS YOUR BOAT SAFE AT OUR BUSINESS?

A: YES. BUT, YOU NEED TO CARRY BOAT INSURANCE ON YOUR BOAT NO MATTER WHAT. MASTER WATERCRAFT SERVICES LLC, IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE THEFT OF YOUR BOAT OR PERSONAL PROPERTY. WE DO HAVE A PIPE FENCING/ GATING SECURING THE PROPERTY, OUR LANDLORD LIVES ON THE PROPERTY, & THERE ARE SECURITY CAMERA'S. GATES ARE CLOSED AT NIGHT. THERE ARE DOGS NEARBY. WE KEEP THINGS AS SECURE AS POSSIBLE FOR YOU!

Q: CAN YOU STAND & WATCH THE REPAIRS BEING MADE TO YOUR BOAT?

A: NO. YOU MAY NOT STAY & WATCH FOR LIABILITY REASONS & WE ARE VERY BUSY & WE NEED TO FOCUS ON OUR WORK.

Q: WHAT IF YOU CANT BRING YOUR BOAT IN ON THE APPOINTMENT DATE YOU MADE?

A: IF SOMETHING COMES UP, PLEASE TRY TO LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME SO WE CAN RE-SCHEDULE YOU FOR A DIFFERENT DATE & ALSO FILL YOUR SPOT. PARKING SPACE IS LIMITED & WE APPRECIATE YOUR HELP WITH THIS. THANKS!

Q: IS YOUR MECHANIC CERTIFIED?

A: YES. I (CLAYTON FRANK) AM MERCURY CERTIFIED. IN ADDITION, I HAVE TAKEN NUMEROUS TRAINING COURSES WITH YAMAHA, & I HAVE WORKED ON SUZUKI 4 STROKES FOR YEARS. I HAVE 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ALL TYPES OF REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE, & INSTALLATIONS WITH ALL ENGINE BRANDS & I CAN MAKE THE PROPER REPAIRS NEEDED TO YOUR BOAT. 

Q: DO WE PROVIDE WARRANTY ON THE REPAIRS MADE?

A: YES. WE PROVIDE A 60 DAY WARRANTY FROM COMPLETION DATE ON THE REPAIRS MADE.  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT WARRANTY FUEL RELATED PROBLEMS. (EX: MOISTURE IN THE FUEL, BAD GAS, GUMMED UP FUEL SYSTEMS) THESE TYPE OF ISSUES ARE NOT IN OUR CONTROL. (WE RECOMMEND YOU TREAT YOUR FUEL WITH MERCURY'S QUICKCARE OR QUICKSTOR PRODUCTS) (STORE BOAT INDOORS IF POSSIBLE. KEEP FUEL TANK FULL IF POSSIBLE. TRY & GET YOUR GAS FROM SAME STATIONS IF POSSIBLE. START & RUN THE ENGINE FREQUENTLY. ALL OF THESE THINGS HELP TO KEEP MOISTURE OUT OF THE FUEL.
